Travel by Air
It's surprisingly cheap to travel around Europe than what I expected. Flights can be possibly booked for less than 100 Euro round trip to anywhere within Europe. Sometimes it is not necessarily to travel by train for long hours.
One most common cheap airline students usually go by in Germany is Ryan Air The thing with cheap airlines is that you would have to pay extra for almost everything that you would usually get with regular airlines. Having any checked in luggage would cost you approximately 20 Euro one way. But for a weekend traveler, there's nothing greater than saving extra bucks for the rest of your trip.
Also, remember to plan your trip accordingly, as the cheaper fairs might be sold out quickly. I would suggest to plan any trips 2-3 weeks ahead.
